A New Faucet

I wanna get this Hansgrohe faucet that I saw last time while browsing on the net. Our faucet at the kitchen needs to be replaced because the bottom part is already damaged. The water kept on leaking under the sink. I told my husband about this and he said I can look for a new one and he will replace it when the new one arrives. He is such an all in one worker at home. He can fix everything at home. And I am glad he is like that. I am so lucky!

The Magnifier

I didn't know what a magnifier means when I saw my uncle use it to read the newspaper. So I got curious and get it and tried to read the newspaper also. The letters and pictures got so big and I laughed hard after using it. I enjoyed looking at the big letters and the pictures got clearer. That magnifier is so important to my uncle. He isn't comfortable with his eyeglasses so he uses the magnifier in reading his newspaper. Its true that he can read better than his eyeglasses with the magnifier. I just hope my eyes will never get that blurred when I will be old already.

Need money ASAP!!!

My paypal withdrawal is not yet transferred to my Credit Card. It is so alarming not to get the money in 5 -7 days. They said in those days I will get the money already. Its been 16 days already. Gosh! I need my money!!!! Waaaahhh! I have friends also who's withdrawal was delayed and they said they badly need the money. That money is for their phone, electric and water bills and also for grocery shopping. That money on my paypal is also for that! I need to stock up my fridge or hubby will ask for something to eat only to find out that the fridge is empty. I will be such a bad wife if that will happen!

So I am thinking of applying for a payday loan right now. I just hope hubby will agree to this or else we won't have something to eat in a week! hahahahhaha! I think this payday loan is also good. I will tell this also to my friends whos paypal money got delayed. They need money too so this is our only way to survive.

I am begging paypal to complete the transaction of my withdrawal from them. I need the money already! I withdrew my money from them last January 26th and they said it only takes 5-7 days to complete the transaction and until now my money is not yet on my EON account!!! GGGGrrrrrrrrr!!!! Looking for a Fiber Cable this morning

Hubby woke me up this morning! He was asking me where I put his fiber cable. I said I don't know! And then I went back to sleep. He again woke me up asking me to help him find that fiber cable. He said he needs it asap. So I went out of bed and help him find that cable. I don't know why he needs it asap. Maybe he will send it to one of our bus who will pass by our house this morning. Go Camping on Vacation

Ohhhh I can finally feel summer! The sun is finally out here in Bicol and it is time to plan a nice vacation this summer! I love to get a Pigeon Forge cabin rentals somewhere so that it will feel like we are on a camping. I love love love camping out! I remember when i was still in my elementary years I used to be a girl scout and we will go camping with my classmates and friends and then we will have a bonfire and we will just sit near it and chat all night about girly stuffs. I miss doing that so I need to plan this vacation well and have a blast!

Time is Important to Me

Time is very important to me when I was still studying. I don't want to be late from school. I even went to school 1 hour before the bell rang. So it is very important to me to be early and take note of the time back then. My dad one time gave me his used Rolex so that I won't bug him to buy me a new watch. But I don't want to use it because it is too bulky for me and it is for boys! I can't wear a watch like that! It won't compliment my girly outfit anyways. So I still bugged him and finally he gave in and bought me an new watch... a watch for girls.

Hubby is such a billiards fanatic. He always sees to it that he watches the 8-Ball Pool at ESPN or to other sports channel. Baby Gifts

I have to find a nice baby gifts for my Godson. His Baptism is near already and I need to buy a gift for him. His mom is very special to me. Camera, a necessity to us!

I remember during our Christmas Party last December with my family the camera is a necessity. Not only it is a gadget for capturing those fun moments but it is an addiction to us. Every picture taking my cousins and I should be in that shot! We hurry and gather around and click away! And it is also important to have an extra lithium battery in case the other one ran out. We will never let any happenings pass with out the camera.

Movie Posters

I love watching movies and if only I can have those original movie posters of my favorites I will surely get it no matter how. Right now I am loving the Game Plan Movie. It is such a great movie and touching too. I got carried away by the dad and daughter tandem of The rock and the little girl. Budgeting

Today is grocery time for me. I need to buy oil, onions, some biscuits, peanut butter, canned foods, and laundry soaps. And the sad part is hubby only gave me 1T pesos. huhuhuuh! I think I need a budget software to budget this money I have. Even if it is such a little money it is such a big help if I have this budget software with me. Hmmmm... I need to read more on what it can do to this budgeting thing.

Missing them!

I miss my Maid’s family. Like what I have said they are like family to me. I miss playing with her kids who are 5, 4 and 2 years old. Before, I wake up because of their noise and then this morning I woke up early because of the silence. Nakakabingi yung katahimikan ng bahay! Hubby eat dinner with the two kids and then now we eat alone. It is so sad to see the house like that. I was sad! Hubby said we can visit them soon. Just to check that they are OK with their newly rented house and I can’t wait for that day!

I am doing this Yen’s QOTW which started last week. I was way behind because I am busy and lazy as well. heheheh! Yen invited me to participate in her QOTW and I like her questions. Thanks Mommy Yen! Here are my answers from last weeks questions.

1. A goal you would like to achieve this year? Buy a DSLR Camera.
2. A smell that reminds you of your childhood? The smell of different kinds of fruits. I always climb trees when I was young just to get my favorite fruits.
3. Favorite cereal? I hardly eat cereals these days sorry.
4. Who was the last person you yelled at? Our maids son for being so naughty!
5. What do you see outside your window? Trees.
6. What country would most like to visit? Hong Kong. I wanna go to Disney Land!
7. What do you prefer… books or movies? Movies.
8. Do you have a tattoo? how many? None. I wanted my body to be clean.
9. What’s the worst advice you were ever given? Go on a suicide I think? Thankfully the person I told that, didn’t do suicide. ahhahahha!
10. Have you ever been searched at the airport? Yah.

The Afghan Girl

She was one of the world’s most famous faces, yet no one knew who she was. Her image appeared on the front of magazines and books, posters, lapel pins, and even rugs, but she didn’t know it. Now, after searching for 17 years, National Geographic has once again found the Afghan girl with the haunting green eyes.

The mysterious Afghan girl whose direct gaze has intrigued the West for so long is Sharbat Gula. She lives in a remote region of Afghanistan with her husband and three daughters.

Sharbat was located nearly two decades after her picture appeared on the cover of National Geographic magazine in 1985. She had no idea her face had become an icon, said Steve McCurry, the photographer who made the famous portrait for National Geographic in 1984, and who tried to find her again during many subsequent trips he made to Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In January 2002, a National Geographic team returned to the Nasir Bagh refugee camp in Pakistan, where Sharbat Gula was originally photographed, to search for her. She was identified through a series of contacts that led to her brother and husband, who agreed to ask her if she was willing to be interviewed.

Sharbat has been photographed on only two occasions: in 1984 and at the reunion with Steve McCurry this year. She had never seen her famous portrait before it was shown to her in January.

“This is the face that so captivated not only National Geographic readers but also anyone who saw her image around the world,” said Boyd Matson, host of the National Geographic television show EXPLORER, who was with the group that met with Gula.

“We’ve known her face, but we’ve not known her story, not even her name,” he said.

Her story touches me. After watching this episode at National Geographic Channel I told myself that I wanted to share it with you guys. Her story is such an amazing one and I salute Steve McCurry for the amazing photograph. With this story the photography wanna be in me intensify. I wanted to capture photos like these. I dream and got inspired by this afghan girl. I hope she is doing OK right now. God Bless her.

I was thinking of going on a diet next month so that my other clothes will fit me again. If ever I can wear that lingerie above I am sure my husband will be very attracted to me again. hahahahaha! Mom was bitten by Weet!

Remember Weet, my sisters Shitzu dog. She bitten mom last Wednesday!!!! My goodness I am so afraid that time. Here's what happened,Mom was on our living room, I think she was reading. And then she heard Weet barking real hard. And then mom went to him and she saw Greta our Labrador trying to bite little Weet. Mom hurriedly got Weet and I pushed Greta away. And all of a sudden mom was bitten by Weet. Maybe she taught mom was hurting her. Poor mom she was trying to save Weet and then she was the one being hurt. I also saw Weet's dog supplies are scattered on our garage because Greta was playing with it and destroying it. Poor Weet! I am sure my sister will be very angry with Greta now.

Funny Tshirts

Why didn't I think that the best gift I can give to my cousins who are so funny are funny t-shirts? Why oh why! I gave them a plain t-shirt instead! grrr... I wished I knew that there is a site like Road Kill Tshirt. They have a lot of funny Tshirts in their site. I am sure they will like if I gave them that instead of a plain one. Well there is still next Christmas and it won't be long anymore so i am bookmarking this site for my gift to them this Christmas or maybe on their birthdays!

You'll Never Know

Hubby and I talked last night about our everyday life. We said that we will prepare for our future first before having a new baby. I want a baby already but we are not yet financially ready. I want that our house to be fully finished before a new family member comes into our lives. I want to save more so that when i get pregnant I can buy whatever our baby needs. And I am thinking of applying for a mortgage life insurance. Well we need it specially nowadays that it is so practical to go on a life insurance. You'll never know when you'll be gone. And getting ready for it is the best way to do right. And hubby is ok about it so I am preparing for it already.

I want a Watch honey

Last Christmas party was one of the happiest days of my life. I got to have my favorite dress and have lots and lots of FUN. I got so excited come the opening of gifts. I got what I want and after opening my gifts I looked to my cousins gifts who got a lot of gifts from our relatives. She got a watch and lots of t-shirts. i also want a watch that time. i got envy on her because she got a watch as her gift. She won't buy one anymore. The morning after the party I searched for a nice watch online. I can ask honey to buy me what i like because he doesn't have a gift to me on Christmas day. I saw a ebel watches online and I said i like that as his gift to me. And he didn't said a thing after I tell him that I want that. Hmmmm... Maybe he will surprise me with that watch? Lets see.

Vanity

Hubby and I went to the mall this morning and I was looking for a good lipstick and blush on to add to my make up stash. I have only a few makeup on my bag so I want to add a few to my stash if you call it a stash already. hahahaha! I like to have a Jane Iredale brand of make up but our local mall don't carry it so after shopping I went online and found Lavandou site that have the brand I am looking for. This will be on my lists to buy next week. I hope I will have enough money to buy it.

2007 in Review

1) Where did you begin 2007? We are still staying at my parents house back then. I am with my family. Huey is still with us that time.
2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day? Married and a happy mom.
3) Were you in school anytime this year? Nope.
4) How did you earn your money? I started doing paid blogging last March 2007.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital? Yah when Huey was sick and it was the last place he went before going to heaven.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police? Nope.
7) Where did you go on holidays? Just here at my parents house.
What did you purchase that was over $1000? A bus, bags of cement and hallow blocks for our house repair.
9) Did you know anybody who got married? Mariz and Alden, Yamie and Ralph.
10)Did you know anybody who passed away? Yes. Huey. My dear son. It was really painful for us. But we have to accept.
12) Did you move anywhere? Yes just 3 kilometers away from my parents house.
14) What concerts/shows did you go to? I can’t remember. I think none.
15) Are you registered to vote? Yah. I voted.
16) Who did you want to win Big Brother? Ruben.
17) Where do you live now? Libod.
18) Describe your birthday. I turned 24 last August. I cooked spaghetti and no guests just my family. A little celebration here at my parents house.
19) What’s one thing you thought you’d never do but did in 2007? Spend a lot! well I am not a keeper. hahaha!
20) What has been your favorite moment? When we had our own house.
21) What’s something you learned about yourself? I learned to be strong for Huey. this has been the most painful year and also the strongest me ever.
22.) Any new additions to your family? My brother’s daughter Liit.
23) Your best month? December. I had FUN during the holidays.
24.) What music will you remember 2007 by? Hawak Kamay by Yeng Constantino and the Papaya song.
25) Who has been your best drinking buddy? I am not a drinker. Sorry.
26) Made new friends? Yes! A lot! I gained a lot of online friends.

The love for Casinos

I have an Uncle who so into online casino. He will be always online betting and luckily he sometimes won in his game. He told me once that someday he will be going to a vegas casino and he will hit the jackpot prize! I just let him dream! hahahahha! I don't know why he was so happy with casino games. Maybe I should try it too so that i will know on why my uncle is so hook to the game.

Family Reunion

Last December 30 was the Family reunion of my family on my father side. It was held on our house thats why I am gone for a long time. I spend preparing for it and after the event I ended cleaning our house. i’ve been busy with cleaning and preparing.

I am in charge of the decoration so I asked my cousins to be in our house early so that I can still prepare myself for the party. We decorated the place with balloons and prepared the back drop. I used my excess paper scrap papers so that it will be colorful. We ended with this…

It was OK right? The balloons didn’t cooperate with us. hahahahha!

And then my relatives started to come. I was happy to see them again for a long time. All of us are in gold outfit, some were in golden yellow. One of my cousin is in white because her gold outfit didn’t fit her because she got pregnant. Last year we don’t have a reunion because of the typhoon. This is all of US.

There are a lot of games and each family is assigned to have a number for the program. Some danced the papaya song with the Edu dance. And some sang Christmas songs. Our family sang Pasko sa Pinas by Yeng Constantino.

I got a t-shirt on the Manito-Manita exchange gifts. And my Manita is not around so I gave it to her grand son. I got my Aunt as my baby. Jun got a bag from his Manita and he got Ate Rhon as his Manita.

It was a very happy Post Christmas party. We had a lot of FUN! I can’t wait for our party this year!

Luxury Homes

Hubby and I went to the mall today. We stopped by Booksale and saw the very beautiful luxury homes of the famous stars. I was amazed by the interior design of their home and wish that my house will also be like that. I am buying a lot of magazines that has interior designs articles because I want to somehow copy the design of the house on the magazines I bought. It is so nice to see a beautiful house. I got really inspired to make my home like what I see on the magazines.
